I tested it as:
2.8 seconds for 1 complete revolution, turning left
25.5 seconds for 10 complete revolutions, turning left
This is now the same in d2x, d2x-rebirth and d2x-xl.
I believe the remaining difference in d2x-xl 1.5.158 for keyboard
control is the "twitchiness" - the movement acceleration in the first
tenth of a second. Tapping the keyboard quickly, results in a smaller
movement with d2x and d2x-rebirth under Linux, making fine control
easier.
I've struggled to find a difference with the "ramping" in d2x-xl. Is it
meant to affect the initial acceleration? If so, that may do the trick,
if its effect is made stronger.
