This should be the official upgrade (assuming you have the north American
edition).

I am not familiar with any other editions. The DF2 environment was by far
my favorite, but it just never seemed to grow as well as DF(1). I imagine
it was because (at the time) it needed a hefty PC to run the game.
Oh well, I haven't the time to play nowadays so I just get to stare in
disbelief at my PC...

| Thanks Zero:

| I tried an uninstall and re-install. With no luck.

| I clicked on the update button at the game's opening dialog, but I've
| never found any factory updates to DF2.
|
| I e-mailed NovaLogic Saturday, but they haven't responed.

| The game was release in, what, 2000? They may not sup****t it

| I posted a question to this group in November, asking for
| recommendations of a good online shooter. With a good community and
| free access to the server. People seem to like the Call of Duty
| series. But I haven't tried it yet. There's something I really like
| about the community and game-play of DF2.
|
| I've had a lot of fun with those people, and I'll miss them.
