I just reinstalled DF2 after probably 2-3 years and it's still fun even 
though there are a lot less players these days. But then again there's 
always servers with players in them no matter which game flavour you
prefer 
so i must say that DF2 are still alive and kicking, well atleast moving
its 
toes.

Speak for yourself i started out with a pirated DF1 and never got into MP 
until DF2 although i did play get to play on Fat&Hairy before it closed 
down. =)
