1. Dunno new one to me :)
2. Classic servers don't have Trails of Atlantis and buffs are limited to 
the group and have a range (hence no buffbots). Classics are better for
the 
casual player, in theory.
3. Unusual, the game client is normally very well behaved. My PC is of a 
similar spec, although I do have a Gig of memory and a slightly faster 
processor. Might be your graphics card (I have an nvidia) or maybe the 
graphic drivers (try the reference drivers).
