Quick query about battlegrounds.

Hi all,

Just a quick question - do the battlegrounds contribute towards ownership 

of Darkness Falls now or not?  If I remember right they didn't in the  
past, but I was kinda hoping that they would now, since theres a  
battleground for each level range.
