you right click on it while pressing the ****ft key, or type /keyboard and
find out what your particular setting is.

no there is not any point in using a lower spell if you have a higher
level
version of it.

you can use it, but why?

well what realm are you playing in? and what level are you at now? in
albion, salisbury plains is good hunting for 20 - 25. and camp forest/av
marsh are good for 25-30, accordingly, cornwall is 30-40 maybe 45. after
that is lyonesse, if you want realm points and realm skill points you
should
start battlegrounds as soon as you hit level 20. There are dungeons in
each zone that you can try, and in rvr and camelot both there are dungeons
that require you to have catacombs expansion installed before you can play
them. As far as guilds are concerned, that is up to you if you want to
join one or not, personally i did not join a guild until i reached level
20
and was able to advertise myself in battlegrounds. It is always good to
group with people and go out to hunt, it is also good if you are able to
find a person who is willing to pl (power level) you.
>How do you go about grouping up?
you find someone who is willing to group with you, in your guild/alliance,
friends, what have you...and ask them if they wanna grp, if you are higher
level then they are, and they agree to grp, simply type this /invite
playername. I dont if it is true or not, but i have heard that whoever
is
highest level in the grp should be made group leader to get better
experience points...to make the highest grp level leader simply type
/makeleader playername.
If you need any other please email me or respond here :)
