Firstly, how do I remove things from the quick task bar? (I think that's
what it's called, the one on the top left of the screen). I can see how
to add things to it, but now having passed level 5 and chosen to be a
sorcerer I have now got more spells than fit on the first page of the
task bar.
Presumably, there's not much point in using lower level versions of the
same spell? Only I suppose if I'm short on endurance or power and can
only afford to use a lower one? Can't RTFM, I haven't got one :-) Having
upgraded from the free trial.
Secondly, I've completed the basic tutorial quests, got the free armour,
chosen my speciality, levelled up to 5 and been sent to a keep (the name
of which I can't remember) spoken to a guy there, as instructed, he told
me about RvR etc... and told me to go back down and speak to someone
else, who has offered to teleport me to one of a selection of places,
including battlefields, back to Camelot and a few others.
My question is, where next? Any advice on where to go? Any advantage,
one over another for a newbie? Do I jump straight into a battlefield,
try a few instanced dungeons? Try and join a guild? Group up first and
then do one of the above? Or do I just pick one and jump right in and
see how I get on? Decisions, decisions.
How do you go about grouping up? Never having played a MMO game of any
sort before, this is all new to me.
Have to say though, so far, thanks to some really friendly, helpful
people on here, I'm really enjoying it. Despite a few teething troubles,
once I got my head around the somewhat confusing interface and a couple
of minor problems with the tutorial quests, looks like it's going to
keep me going for a while :-)
