I'll give it a try. I guess the worse that can happen is, it won't work
with the trial, but I'll have the expansion ready to install as soon as
the Platinum turns up.

I presume the trial version is the full client, just limited to 14 days
by the serial key? I notice from the splash screens when I quit, it
appears you can just continue your subscription and carry on.
If this does turn out to be the case, I can just burn the client from
the trial to a CD/DVD should I ever need it.
Like you say I could always Ebay the Platinum when it arrives. Not to
mention the UK version, lol! In my bid to save a few quid, not for the
first time, my impulsiveness has ended up costing me twice as much :-)
