Yes, poorer service. Late version upgrades. Late expansion releases.
Only two English language servers to start, which pissed me off as a
lot of folks like to play three realms, so I had to buy a second
account. Basically GOA are crap IMHO. Do you remember the Excalibur
problems that went on for ages, with folks losing toons, items etc.?
The server constantly cra****ng. Same happened with Prydwen, but less
serious. They also dropped the ball big time by not going for the
classic servers in my opinion. The classic servers are pulling in  a
lot of *new* players as well as returnees who left because of ToA. Any
server that does away with buff bots is a good one in my book.

CoH is fun, but in short doses only I find. A bit like WoW really :).
Also being a European I don't have the same obsession with men wearing
their underpants over tights and running around in capes as the North
Americans do ;). City of Villains may draw me in more once PvP is part
of CoH though.
