Sure, think there will be quite more _real_ persons checking this ng ;)

In comparison to UO, EQ & especially WoW, i think the RvR-System in DAoC
is pretty well done. You always can get those special-realm-abilities as
purge, ip etc to get out of mezz and mezz your opponents ;) and well,
that ppl are camping the bridges belongs to the lazyness of the campers;
with a good group you can set up your "8-players-trap" nearly everywhere
you want ;)

The other thing you mentioned was that you have to enter another realm
to take your own keeps & towers back. well, thats wrong! you can always
reraid your own keeps&towers back without ever leaving your frontier
zone! only thing you have to reraid in the foreign frontiers are the
relics. and well, there are ppl that are earning hell of money from
selling items and ingame-money @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
ebay etc., so in my opinion the
night-raids are just a laugh in comparison. think positive: everyday you
play this game, there are some friendly enemies that give you the chance
to go into RvR ;)
And as long as ppl will fight in RvR to open up darkness falls or to get
the relics back home, i think there“s kinda movement in the frontiers :)
hopefully the will open up a system to get into real 8vs8-RvR-Zones,
e.g. like the intances but for only one ful group from each realm. so
there would be a chance to get a fair 8vs8 fight without zerging,
without crossteaming and all the other mistakes, that occur daily in the
"real RvR".
Just my 2 cents ;)
