Oh yea.  I can imagine that being a pain in the ass.

Hmmm... so, what's the issue again with not getting sound to work in
Arena?  Has there been anything in particular that seems to keep you
from getting sound?

You can't join them, they're just shops and temples with specific
gameplay purposes (Buying healing potions, curing disease, etc).

Its overall simplicity for one thing.  While I like a lot of
Daggerfall's innovations, sometimes I prefer a straightforeward
experience system and flat, level-by-level dungeons over the skills
system ("Damn, what skill should I select?") and mating octopi.  Also
that you explore all of Tamriel instead of just one province.
