It is designed to make the game playable in DF. You
do not need it in 98. The problem with XP is, that it
handles
memory radically different from 98 ( a whole new
concept)
The program, - I think - , emulates a win95/98
environment.
It is not like moslo or the other speed-modifying
utilities.
It simply installs DF from scratch. As far as
movements they
are perhaps slightly faster than you are used to and
it takes
some time to get used to it. Everything else seems
normal
One other thing. The intro only plays when you
starts. If you
have a character already, you will not get the intro
when
you start the next ones
The city and dungeon maps can be a bit tricky too
