Well now..
Bethesda has announced TES IV - Oblivion.
Good news i think, although i don't have access to "Game Informer"
magazine (who is running the exclusive article).
There's a flurry of postings at the Elder Scrolls forums about it.
I detect apprehension among some: that Oblivion is rumored to be
"shorter" than it's predecessor, i think.
Personally my heart has always been in Daggerfall of course. And it is
that land i wish Bethesda would return to..(or High Rock what have
you)
But maybe such games do not generate the kind of profits required by
game developers in today's world.
I do feel a bit rushed however, with this announcement. What was
there, 2 years between ElderScrolls 1 and 2? A very long time between
2 and 3.
How do others feel about the progression of the Elder Scrolls, are
they churning out titles (and chapters) too quickly now?
