while i dont play Generals, most C&C games have the structures auto fire.
the most one can do is select the item and aim if there is more than one
target. that is helpful if, say a turret is under fire by infantry and
tanks. you want the turret hittin tanks.. more hit points on vehicles,
since
the infantry only get shrapnel.
i once won a multiplayer game where i had an infantry man, and he a tank.
i
kept moving (so he couldnt run me over) and shooting. i eventually wore
him
down.
