My base has reached a plateau with what I can do with/to it until I
get more power, control, and space.
Its not 100% raid-ready and won't be for a while if ever. I have a
large number of members who were at 96 days offline. Now I am pretty
liberal, but I tell members I would prefer if they log in at least
once a month, and after 60 days they could be kicked. I emailed a
dozen or so members who had hit the 90+ mark and then kicked them.
Then I went on a recruiting drive and got at least a dozen new lowbie
recruits.
I have a small set of easy guidelines.
Play in SG mode.
Write a description for your character.
Leave the enhancement table in the generator room alone.
Log/play at least once a month.
Get promoted at 1000 prestige.
Respect teammates that want to use the SG channel to roleplay.
Check the roster for active teammates when pulling together a mission.
Email me if you will be offline for more than a month.
Now in the workshop/lab there are two enhancement tables, one for
Invention Enhancements and the other for everything else. I have
empowerment stations, all three levels, and the base salvage stored
there.
The generator room has an enhancement table on a raised platform, and
I've spelled "ALT XFR" on the wall with small vents to create the
text.
I make the rules really easy to comply with, since I can't devote a
large amount of time every day to it like some can. (A couple of my
alts needed to get played to reset their timers, so mea culpa on
that.)
I've considered holding a contest for the most +productive+ recruits
(not alts) and offering a game time card as a first prize. How can I
divy up SG privileges to provide for a meaningful promotion to
Captain?
I don't focus enough on my leader to earn boatloads of Influence to
pay for large prestige goals.
Member - can get in base to use tele****ters and salvage vault, etc.
(Also get 20,000 inf at signup)
Lieutenant - Full access to enhancements, inspires, etc, can recuit,
(promoted at 1000 prestige)
Captain - Can call base raids, can demote/promote, pay rent.
Leader - Can edit base and demote/kick (currently I'm the only
leader)
I have the arcade server at home I could probably install Ventrillio
on that for the SG to use.
I guess the next step is to set up a guild****tal page for the team.
