I'm sorry to say that my perpetually-rerolled alt Mean Mr Mustard has
slipped to the dark side...
After being built first as a tank, and then as a scrapper, and as a
reworked scrapper, and never getting past about level 10 or so, he has
abandoned Paragon City for a live of crime and grime in the Isles.
Seriously, I've wanted to try out the two new power sets for a while and
so I re-rolled him as a Dual Blades/Willpower brute. He has two of the
huge neo-samurai blades, both bright green since they're derived from
Rikti technology.
I've only run him to level 7, but with the DB powers plus the veteran
powers (Sands of Mu and Nemesis Staff), he is running on whatever the
CoV equivalent of Invincible is and mopping up. I don't recall ever
taking out a purple boss/red lieutenant combo with a level 7 before...
The DB animations, especially details like the modified Brawl (if you
have your swords out, it's instanced as a kick) make a refre****ng
change. I'm even more intrigued by the chained powers in the set. I
might run this guy quite a while, even though the Isles have bored me
since I ran my main there to 37.
