Does it seem to some folk like the online number of heroes has
dropped?
Just yesterday, I encountered a 2.5 year veteran who was moving their
primary character from Justice over to Freedom because (in her words)
its really dying off on that server.
Now, I have created characters on all the servers, but I spend 80% of
my time on Freedom, where the West Coast Defenders SG base I built is,
and about 20% of the time on Liberty, experimenting with my Stalker.
I made sure to join up with a top 100 SG when I created the Stalker
(during the pre-prestige grant recruiting drives) so I can almost
always be sure to encounter a SG teammate, but I frequently will find
no one looking for a team, so its a solo experience on Liberty
often.
Freedom consistently has more traffic, according at least to the login
dots on server selection. Is CoH/CoV getting to be a little long in
the tooth?
Since I am not a WoW fan, and I have never tried Second Life or that
ilk, I have no idea what the "Next Big Thing" will be, and I can't
afford to sup****t more accounts on different game systems, so I'd be
looking to move to the next MMORPG with a Superhero theme and drop
CoH. The game is still a good $30/month investment in entertainment,
since I have to work away from home and 3 nights a week at least I am
in a small room with little else to do. When I am home, the boys want
to play the accounts on the weekend, either with each other or with
me. (We have a no gaming, no movies, very little TV rule on weekdays
so they focus on reading, s****ts, or homework.)
What's your perception?
