Hi all,
Working on the base today, I noticed as I was juggling base salvage
that I had enough materials to whip up a base computer. Cool beans
thought I.... So after deleting a corner control panel to make room, I
slapped in base computer, dropped out of base edit mode, and tapped
into the computer. Ahah! This is the thing you need for base raids
and Cathedral of Pain TF missions, so you can grab an item of power!
(Insert Pinky the lab mouse voice:) "Egads! Brilliant, no, wait....
don't you have to have dimensional anchors (6, one per room), a base
raid tele****ter, and a vault?"
D'oah!
So I slap up the anchors and start making plans for my last two rooms
to be a vault and a raid tele****ter, rather than more tele****tation
rooms. Then it hits me... Aren't the Cathedral of Pain missions
unavailable right now, even if I have all this? And there is no way
in heck, even after a 3 mil influence dump, that I will have a raid-
defensible base anytime in the near future...
D'oah!
Guess I wasted 6 tech materials. Or did I?
Is the Cathedral of Pain missions available/doable/worthwhile?
Can I do all this and never open my base up to raids?
