Try using a dos emulator, like DOSbox.

It can also emulate some sound cards, like SB, but not sure about the
Roland one that was used in the orginal.Also make sure you get a
frontend, makes it a lot easier to use, I prefer Boxer, but it hasn't
been updated for 0.63.
