I've just called my node (uplink) and asked him whether he can
kick out that and the other new newsgroups I ordered, because
it's simply too much. It not only brought his system to a halt
yesterday (he was wondering whether there was another spam-wave
like a while ago), but it'd have taken me almost half an hour to
download it all (28.8 modem, and the stuff is packed with .zip
for transfer). That every day (even if his system could manage
the flood), is rather unaffordable, as even local calls do cost
money over here. :/
Sad though, what I did get before breaking the connect looked
very interesting (not that I'd have the time to read it all).
