Yes, the WW1 Vickers had a weight of something like 80 lbs or more, and
took 2-3 men to handle it. Only in the later stages of WW1 did one-man
****table machine guns (Lewis gun and similar) come into use for
attacking. Having said which, it is odd that the icon shows (IIRC - I've
tem****arily mislaid my Civ 4 DVD) a soldier with what looks very much
like a Lewis gun.
