The last official patch has some really wierd bugs in it.

One bug I found was that if I captured an enemy coastal city that had a 
trans****t or galley in it with workers / settlers inside, this happened:

The workers would jump into the nearest cities of the enemy I'm at war
with 
and capture those cities for me but not eliminate the military within. So 
effectively I might get 3 enemy cities by capturing just 1. But however, 
unless I  could then eliminate the military within the extra captured
cities 
I'd loose them at turn end.

Once I recall, on capturing an enemy coastal city workers appeared on an 
adjacent water tile. I couldn't move them and ended up deleting them.

Now using the unofficial patch and find it much better.
It's a sad state of affairs when users have to put software right.......
