did under such adverse cir***stances.
The late part of my current game has gone so well
that I might try the same setup at immortal. On the
other hand, the early part of this game was no
picnic, in spite of no barbarians and the vast
distance seperating me from potential enemies
because of the pressure to expand as rapidly
as possible while still keeping up in techs.
I didn't manage to build any of the early
wonders. I did manage to build the hanging
gardens and hagia sophia, though, so that
helped keep me in the game. Looks like I
won't have to attack anyone, since, to my
surprise, everybody but alex and louis voted
for me for secretary general. Looks like
it's going to be an easy diplomatic victory.
