I don't think that's a fair criticism, though, given the far lesser 
capabilities of the PC's it was intended to run on.

Of course, if the Spanish started nearby, they tended to 'solve' the 
moral dilemma for you. :)

I would only attack the Indians if they attacked me first, on the 
grounds I had a right to defend myself.
