  The unofficial patch isn't that hard to install.  I think someone
was trying to make an auto-installer for it, but it is still a work in
progress with frequent changes.

  The original release also had an unofficial patch, most of which got
incor****ated into the official one.  It was a big help for playability
of the game.

  The game itself has few critical, game-killing bugs with the 3.13
patch.  The unofficial patch fixes some annoyances, and a handful of
bad things which may not come up in most games.


  For the game itself, playing it too much is kind of natural.  It is
a nice upgrade from Warlords, with more peaceful expansion options as
well as military.
