Too many people posting at Civfanatics.com seem to regard Civ as some kind

of spreadsheet where the fun consists in milking the game for the highest 
possible score. They are the ones who always object to suggestions that
the 
High Council or the throne room for Civ II be returned, on the grounds
that 
they "would take resources away from the game". I feel differently, of 
course - the Council and the throne room were *fun*.
