I hope you have a backup of the original files.
I'm guessing you have a dos version of Civ2 and it doesn't like the NTFS
disk. That aside... and hoping you are keeping detailed notes of your
changes...
On second thought... after looking over some of the stuff i pulled up it
looks like you might have something wrong with the windows installation.
You
should undo whatever you have done so far and read up on it more until you
understand what is going on. I don't even want to be involved in totally
screwing up your system.
When you search the help & sup****t stuff, add XP as a search term to
eliminate some of the results from older versions of windows. Always look
at
what version of windows the kbarticle is referring to.
