OK, I did find on the Microsoft Help Knowledge Base a whole section about
"Error Messages when you install or start an MS-DOS of 16 bit
Windows-based
program", with instructions how to change my config.nt, autoexec.nt and
command.com files.
Having changed those files as instructed, now I receive the following
error
message:
"The Win16 subsystem was unable to enter Protected Mode, DOSX.EXE must be
in
your AUTOEXEC.NT and present in your PATH."
OK, how do I do that? The Windows Help is vague here.
