Your post inspired me to revisit Black & White. I installed it straight,
they
way it wanted to install itself. Couldn't find any patches at the site
you
recommended, but found a lot of patches at http://www.kayssplace.com
Downloaded and installed the 1.2 patch. I then right clicked on the
desktop
shortcut and set compatibility to Win 98. So far it runs great, I've
gotten as
far as getting a creature, time will tell.
