hi. i can run the unpatched version of black & white just fine on winxp
and
win2k; but after i install *any* of the available game patches i get an
error message at launch involving "runblack.exe" and the game quits to
desktop.
i've tried the 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 game patches all with the same result.
i've
tried directx7 and directx9. i've tried various drivers for my matrox
g550.
and it happens in both win2k and winxp.
any ideas? i'm perplexed. i'm prepared to run the game unpatched if i
have
to, but i'd like to also be able to use some of the game add-ins that
apparently require a patched b&w.
any help appreciated.
