I installed it on my wife's computer which has directx 9.0b and it worked
fine. She has a much slower machine, though, so I was hoping to get it
onto
mine. I upgraded to b from a, uninstalled, reinstalled... Still only the
splash screen and sometimes an empty box like it's going to launch in a
window (for a second, maybe), but still no dice. I'll have to sneak it
every now and again on the wife's...
