Thanks for the reply. I think maybe I was a little unclear. The actual
controls screen
background is fine, only the parts which show the actual defined keys is
garbled.
For instance the move forward may show nothing or something like $%^&. If
I
try and reset to defaults, all the key areas go blank. If I go back to the
game screen
its impossible to move, but the game is definitely still running. If I
redefine the keys,
the new definitions have no effect and are gone when I return to the
controls screen.
I'm running the original v1.0 CD. I've tried the 1.4 patch, the unofficial
1.8 and also
the large assets. I'm running a ****tege PIII 500 with a Savage IX. This
runs
other
games like Half Life and Star Raith fine. I've tried many different
graphic
drivers,
although I'm not sure it's a graphic problem. More of a controls. It's as
if
the keyboard
setting file (where ever that is) is getting corrupted.
I've also tried renaming the Anim folder, as it said somewhere the files
won't play on XP?
