Hi and welcome the days of your life vani****ng in a blur of insanity!
Which game are you playing? 2142 / 2 / 1942?
:)
"Uncaps" are bases, flags or spawn points that canot be captured by
the opposite team. Usually they are the start bases of the teams.
Attacking these bases is considered to be bad form unless you are
trying to destroy items such as commanders radars, and on 99% of
servers the rules state clearly that attacking uncaps is not alowed.
Why? Because when you as a player respawn into the game it takes a few
moments to orientate yourself and decide what you intend to do within
the game. Oftem you will be looking at the map to decide where to go
and BAM, an enemy player kills you while your attention is elsewhere.
They're cheap shots and only worthy of chicken**** kids. IMO.
There are a few maps where only one team has an uncap base. The other
team usually starts with the rest of the map and has to defend it or
die. (Gibraltar in 2142 for example.)
There are lots of forums out there that will help you. Search for the
name of the game and forums. Have fun but don't forget to eat and
drink.
Hope this helps.
Pointyhead, playing Battlefireld 2142.
