Dog,
The idea of playing BF (or for that matter, any other game) is to have
FUN.
If you find yourself on a server where the game isn't fun, you should
leave
and find another one. A hassle, I know, but worth the effort.
I sincerely doubt you are up against cheaters. As others have said, it
sounds like you are up against players who (1) have made BF their
vocation,
(2) have highly sophisticated equipment, (3) are in clans and benefiting
from good teamwork, (4) are simply better than you, or (5) are some
combination of 1-4.
I do understand your frustration. As one of the oldest players of BF
(would
you believe late 50's?) my reflexes are good, but nowhere as sharp as your
typical 13 year old Nintendo jockey, I have a decent machine and
videocard,
and play a few hours each week. I am not in a clan, but do squad up
whenever I can. I play by the rules, and hate jumpers, divers, etc.,
because they detract from the "reality" of the game. I enjoy commanding
and
do pretty well with it when people actually follow my orders . . . and
when
I command, I hunker down in a mined bunker with a sniper rifle at my side.
I guess you would say I am a conservative player.
Having said all that, my scores for most games are average, and there have
been more than a few times I have done quite well . . . and no, I don't
wear
earphones, either. If I am getting slaughtered in a game, I will leave it
it seems there is no relief. The point is, if I can have fun with BF, so
can you.
I hope to meet you in a game sometime, we can squad up . . . but you will
have to keep up with me!
