You did a great job of describing one possible sequence of events when 
planting explosives as Recon in 2142.

However, your post reminds me of those old SNL skits when the comics 
said stuff like,"I HATE it when I take a nail and a big hammer and drive 
it through my head. It really hurts! Every single time!"

It was okay traveling down memory lane - those were pretty funny 
sketches. Next time though, how about taking a little more time to work 
out something a bit more comically original?
