I saw several quests offered in the Copper Coronet, but while doing the
first one involving Trolls in the Keep and having the mage/thief princess
along (which I completed), I chained out two other quests not in the city
at
all (Trademeet/Druid Grove and another area further North). I'm assuming
BG
is like most RPG's in that you want to use early quests to level your
characters up a bit before taking on certain areas. My character levels
are
between 8 and 10 if that helps.
So what I was after is some sort of idea what areas and/or quests I should
finish up first (to level and gear my characters up a bit) before going to
other areas. E.g. should I finish all Copper Coronet quests before doing
Promenade quests. Do Promenade quests before doing Trademeet... etc.
This
is my first time through BGII so I'm willing to do more than necessary to
make sure my characters are properly leveled, have good equipment and I
have
a thorough knowledge of the game.
I have a couple of good spoiler sites but they don't tend to tell me
things
like, 'Your characters should be at least level 12 before doing this
quest'
or anything like that. So I'm not so much looking for spoilers to quests
as
I am looking for which areas/quests I should do up to what character
level.
(I'm assuming there are quests that level 8 to 10 characters simply
couldn't
complete due to lack of equipment, stats, spells and missing due to the
level difference between my characters and the mobs I was trying to hit.)
