Empathic Manifest

I'm playing a solo chaotic-neutral half-elf F/M/T in BG2  I just can't
think of a way to get past this thing.  My innate Bhaal abilities
don't include Cure Light Wounds for whatever reason, maybe becuase I'm
not good.  I can't cast heal spells (obviously) and can't use the Cure
Serious Wounds scroll which is so helpfully provided.

Does anyone have any ideas?  Do I have to drag Aerie down there or
what?
