There isn't any unfortunately. Yo****mo would have been the best thief
available but i guess the designers didn't see a need for a single
class thief heading to the highest levels unless the player created
one.

There isn't a disable traps spell, but just save often ;) and if you
have played the game before, you will probably have a good idea where
the certain death traps are. use the various anti magic potions
available to get yourself through the toughies.
