I'd be willing to bet that someone from Apogee started this newsgroup,
but of course, they couldn't control it since it's not a moderated
group.  Several people from Apogee used to post here and answer
questions just like the Interplay people used to do on that group. 
Anyone else remember when there was a woman from Interplay whose job was
to announce their new games and answer questions about them on the
newsgroups?
