Great game but too bad it's a DOS only version. Worse, it doesn't run
well in Windows once you get past Windows 95/98. That's the main reason
Apogee abandoned the game but later decided to do the right thing of
releasing it as freeware.

Then somone so devoted will happily spare us the "DOS" agony by
releasing a windows executable port just like it happened when 3drealms
finally did the right thing by releasing the source codes for ROTT,
DUKE3D, and Shadow Warrior.
