Get somebody who had an SL pre-order to show you their appartment ;-)
But yes, generally the flats are pretty poor. Those in Jobe (once you have
got SL installed) are supposed to be better - I have the pre-order luxury
apartment, which has a large living area, kitchen (no usable devices),
balcony, bedroom, bathroom and personal grid terminal :-)
If you go to luxury goods or finest edition, you can purchase furniture,
gadgets and art to put in your appartment. But it will still look rather
spartan. They could do an awful lot in this area... But most players want
new weapons, armour and nanos, not better looking and equipped
apartments :-(
