Are you runnuing the install.exe that is in the AO download directory?
Also, if you are running XP SP2, it might be the standard set-up program
is
borked (happened with me yesterday trying to install some financial
software, it kept asking for the AO CD!
Run Regedt32 or Regedit and look for the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\...
....AppPaths\Setup
If the (standard) entry has a value, erase the value (not entry!).
Also the Path entry, if that has a value, erase the value (again, not the
entry).
Once you've done that, try again...
