most of the tradeskill items on the island are for upgrading your noobie
weapon so if you don't have all the pieces, the stuff is junk because you
cant get that stuff on the mainland. try typing... /tell recipebot <item
link>
(for the <item link> you just drag and drop the item into the chat window)
recipebot will tell you what you can use it for and what you need.
