how was flying backwards into combat? ;) Only way AH could top those would
be with...wait for it...SWORDFISH! Got *this* close to getting the cods
to
hang torpedoes on the brisfits and turning them on in the arena. Woulda
been a hoot. They did turn them on during a Con once, but not with torps.
The ACCS embarrassed a bunch of FWRun90s that night ;)
Oh I've nosed around there (AH website) from time to time. But I'm not in
a
position to be able to afford the kind of 'puter it'd take to run the
thing
(still herding a PII 200mmx running win95, don't laugh, it was the
bleeding
edge in '97 ;) ) Heck, have to get my flight sim jones on MS' FS98 as
anything more recent causes my box to go jerkjerkjerk a la Scav which is
exactly what AH did when I d/l'd it. I did notice that you are among the
cods of CM-dom over there, though, does this mean that you become more
GB-like in the run-up to a scenario? (mean and cranky, that is) ;)
So, are HiTech and crew contemplating anything along the lines of the
late,
lamented autoscenarios? Saw some real potential there with a more
flexible
structure and thought my boss was amenable to some of my ideas given
success
but the suits at cor****ate fixed that up nicely.
Was thinking of dropping by the folk at AH but less than two years after
visiting the cods of kesmai, they got snuffed, so better I stay north of
the
Red River, huh?
Just saw a BlackAdder marathon this week on BBCA, much more to my liking
than Hyacinth and crew (Keeping Up Appearances) though I have a sis-in-law
that's Hyacinth to a T :shudder:
