Hello everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone out there had a few ideas that might
help me out....
Basically my players are going to be heading into a paladin's tomb
pretty soon in order to recover an evil sword that was placed there
long ago for safe keeping. I'm pretty sure I've got a handle on that
part but I want to give the players the chance to get the paladin's
holy sword also. However, I want the ghost of the paladin to give it
to the players with her blessing versus them finding it in a pile of
loot or something like that.
I was thinking that some sort of moral testing needs to be involved,
such as placing the party in illusionary? danger and seeing if
anybody
sacrifices themselves for the party and other stuff like that. Does
anybody have any ideas for these types of scenarios and how to
implement them? It seems like I read an adventure once that was
similiar to this (I think it was in Krynn), but I can't remember the
name of it. Any help would be appreciated.
