That's great, I am sure You'll have much fun with all these nostalgic
games!
Perhaps, if You would be able to find "Valley of the Minotaur", it
wouldn't
be as much fun as You remember it (trying to give You some comfort ;-)).
As
it is a text adventure, You might still try rec.games.int-fiction, that
group is about that kind of games.

Did You use an emulator like DOSbox (highly recommended download by the
way)
or did You try to run the program in a "DOS-window" of Windows? In the
latter case, I am not surprised, in modern Windows the terminal window has

not much to do with a real dos window anymore and programs in there are
not
allowed to much.

Well, in any case I wish You many good times with the games You _did_ find

and I wish You good luck in the other news group, hopefully someone over
there can help You (sorry that I did not point You in that direction
sooner,
I did not realize that it was a text adventure, although You had mentioned

in Your post).

Have You already tried forums about Apple II, I am sure that there are
some.

Yours sincerely,
Rene

P.S. I know back in the days of the 8 bit home computer the one one owned
was the best one but have You ever downloaded an MSX emulator with games?
Those were great computers as well and many nice games were written for
them
so if You ever feel bored, try it (off course only if You feel like it).
