I found this out when reading information at the website. I am a bit
confused. Do you
need DOSBox to run DBGL? Because I am fairly sure I installed *only* DGBL
(it was all I
downloaded) and things seem to be working fine. (So far.)

I do agree with this. Believe me, after the time and money I spent on
Amigas and related
products over a good 10-15 years, I was so disappointed when it lost the
battle to be one
the major operating systems. Gods, I think Amiga was using a
"Windows"-type system long
before PC were.
I must say, that is why when I changed I went with a PC and not a Mac. I
did NOT want to
get another operating system that was NOT the dominate one.

I am just extremely paranoid right now over what happens to my computer.
I have no money
to fix it if something goes wrong, and even though it is old now (like 10+
years) there
is no way I could or can replaces it.

emulators.
I will look for those and see what they are.
> Ah, yes about Captive, I think you can't finish that game.
You can win it, by freeing yourself from the prison.

it's over.
Yes, I read that in one of the manuals with the Amiga box copy I have. It
basically
starts a whole new series of levels at random. I read in one of the
manuals it had
almost 6,000 levels. A VERY interesting feature. A game that you can
play without
almost any end.
> And there is Captive II - Liberation, do you know that?
I have heard of that, but heard it was no where up to the quality of the
original.
And from the info in my box, it said that to be a RECAPTURED Mission Disk
that you could
use with your original CAPTIVE disk. But I don't recall or have seen
anything that would
indicated that was ever released. I will have to try Google.
When I was looking at the materials in my CAPTIVE book, I found my
receipt. I bought it
in March 1991, a few weeks after it was released. I paid $40 for it! $40
in 1991! With
a game on one floppy disk! A few months ago I bought CALL OF CTULHU: DARK
CORNERS OF THE
EARTH for under $20 with the game on two CDs.
Ye gods.
