A technomancer without a body (it's around somewhere, I'm sure of it, I'm
just
not sure where....)
What well known, well respected, core ShadowRun character does this
technomancer have a legitimate reason to have as a contact?
Just about anyone on (the now dead) Shadowland BBC...like Hestaby, the
Orange
Queen herself. Or Fastjack, the best (and oldest) decker alive.
What do these two (the dying child and the ghost in the shell) plan to do
to
the rigger twink?
Well...this is where things get interesting.
First the technomancer claims the rigger's wireless node as his, granting
himself +1 to all actions, and anyone else a -1.
Then the child begins poking him with a stick (he can't fight back--the
dying
child with his 1 die has more dice than the rigger even when he's aware of
the
attacks and completely in his meat body).
Then the technomancer registers a gremlin to change the rigger's code so
that
all his "s"s are "th"s. "Aw poor baby can't code anymore, why don't you
do it
like me and just will the matrix to do what you want it to?"
Then the child gets a bunch of other children to poke the defenceless fat
man.
Then the technomancer compiles another gremlin to give the rigger -6 to
all
matrix actions (and any number of 1s are glitches).
Then when they get bored with their pet the Dialysis Kid stabs the rigger
with
a knife, killing him.
All to prove the point that twinks who can't figure out how to not-twink
need
to be humiliated. He also thinks he's as good as Fastjack, despite not
being
70 years old, not having 50+ years of experience running, and thinks he
should
be paid huge sums of money because, quote, "Only AAA Megacorps hire
shadowrunners."
Oh, the fun Jim and I are going to have.

Admittedly not as much fun as the space opera version of the technomancer
(think Mr. Universe if he'd been punted into The Signal by a hostile AI
bent
on taking over the universe) and Jim's 16/10/4 year old ... death machine,
Bubblegum (she's got the body of a 16 year old, has the mind of a 10 year
old,
and is 4 chronologically and was designed to fight dinosaurs). BIANCA
can't
have cyberware (it'd kill her) but because of owning a comlink, sees the
disembodied technomancer "as a ghost." "Nooo! Ghosts don't exist! Why
can't
I hurt you...?"
