Errm... I don't mean to butt in.. but the whole reason so many people
use 'Real Life' as the term is because they call everything that he do
here, on the internet, as 'CyberSpace' as if it's a se****ate realm that
is not real, a pesudo-reality. Hense why we use the term 'Real Life'. It
has nothing to do with implying 'in real life I'm not a dragon', it's
supposed to imply 'Physically, outside of the internet realm I am...' In
cyberspace you may appear as you wish, ie. having your inner draconic
image show. In 'real life' although still a dragon, your image does not
show. That simple.
If anyone is /that/ sensitive about saying 'real life', then use an
alternate word for physical reality/realm. I'm sure one could be cleaver
enough with having the whole English and Latin language to their
disposal to create a new use of a word, or a compound word.
One such one that amused me is in one video game, they termed the
physical world and cyber world as 'Meat world' and 'Cyber world' and
called your body standing there while in the cyber world your 'meatsack'
