I don't have kids myself, but I know someone who does and no, her kids
do not know. They are aware of an alternate spirituality and happily
participate in that, but I think he is waiting for the children to be
older before talking of dragons (if he means to mention it at all).
I wouldn't say anything, why give the kids one more reason to feel
alienated from their peers, or from their parents, or the world.. ?
Plenty of time when they are grown-up to talk about such things, I
think.. Then again, I'm not planning on ever having kids of my own, so
I doubt I'll ever be needing to truly make such a decision!
